The Faculty of Nursing and Health (FNHS) Sciences warmly welcomes all interested students who feel the call to serve our people in the public and private health sector, to join us as you begin your tertiary education journey.

At FNHS there are 2 schools: The Queen Salote School of Nursing and Midwifery offers quality nursing and midwifery programs leading to registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife in Tonga. The School of Health Sciences provides the study opportunities that equip students who wish to pursue a career in the Allied Health Departments of the Health Care Sector. We currently offer programs in Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology and Oral Health.

We collaborate with health care agencies like Vaiola Hospital, the Health Centers, and other institutions like schools, churches, and community groups, to support our students in their studies.

We are committed to training and develop our students to serve the people safely with confidence, sound judgement, and with resilience. Our students enjoy a very active and lively student life that encourages their participation to health and well-being activities, sports, social events and singing in the school’s choir.
